1. When ı first heard that ı had been accepted to Middle East Technical Unıversity, ı was disappointed. Because ı did not like Ankara as a city. But my opinions have changed over time dramatically. Because Middle East Technical Unıversity is really a different world in Ankara.

 2. It has been only one month since I came here. But I got used to this environment. Because, first of all, people from all of ages in here respect to each other.

 3. I love Ankara,I love my dormitory,I love my new friends, I love my department,I am content with everything which are belongs to METU. 

4. If someone wants to walk , he or she can go and walk. And it is nice place to go and meet with my friends

 5. We can easily see this by watching TV,surfing on the internet or maybe just looking around us.Because there are many people getting graduated from different kinds of universities but they're not even able to know what's going on around them or they don't even try to find good ways to improve the countries yhat they live in.

NEW FOOD PRODUCTS

NEW FOOD PRODUCTS You are going to work in twos, threes or fours. You will imagine you are a Turkish marketing manager of a new firm in the catering sector. You need to choose a local produce ( a special kind of food that is popular in a particular region in Turkey) and need to develop some effective marketing strategies to sell your food in a country that you have chosen. You need to point out the advantages of your product compared to other similar products. While preparing your strategies, you need to mention the age of your potential consumers, the price of the product,the ingredients, the name of the product, the slogan of your product.You also need to point out in what ways your product may appeal to the taste of the people of the country that you have chosen. You are expected to use the coordinating and correlative conjunctions, and a variety of sentence types (simple, compound, and compound complex sentences in your writing). You may need to do some research about the type of eating habits of the country that you have chosen. You also need to prepare a mini poster of your product. You need to prepare the poster either on the computer or by hand (If you prepare the advertisement by hand, you need to have it scanned in the jpg format and then upload it to your post). Instead of preparing an advertisement of your product, you can shoot a 4-5 minute video clip of your food product, by talking about your new product. ( I would appreciate if all members of the group needs to talk in the video) You need to upload your work to our class blog (http://fle133contgrammar2012.blogspot.com/) Deadline: December 3, 2012.
