NEW FOOD PRODUCTS You are going to work in twos, threes or fours. You will imagine you are a Turkish marketing manager of a new firm in the catering sector. You need to choose a local produce ( a special kind of food that is popular in a particular region in Turkey) and need to develop some effective marketing strategies to sell your food in a country that you have chosen. You need to point out the advantages of your product compared to other similar products. While preparing your strategies, you need to mention the age of your potential consumers, the price of the product,the ingredients, the name of the product, the slogan of your product.You also need to point out in what ways your product may appeal to the taste of the people of the country that you have chosen. You are expected to use the coordinating and correlative conjunctions, and a variety of sentence types (simple, compound, and compound complex sentences in your writing). You may need to do some research about the type of eating habits of the country that you have chosen. You also need to prepare a mini poster of your product. You need to prepare the poster either on the computer or by hand (If you prepare the advertisement by hand, you need to have it scanned in the jpg format and then upload it to your post). Instead of preparing an advertisement of your product, you can shoot a 4-5 minute video clip of your food product, by talking about your new product.
